English assistant teachers needed - starting in october 2021

Live in Spain for eight or nine months with your living expenses covered while learning the language and working in the most noble of professions: teaching!

Our program offers, a teaching assistant placement in a Spanish school equivalent to approximately 20 teaching hours a week, under a signed agreement and a monthly grant to cover your living expenses, additionally no deposit or fees
This program is aimed to native level English speakers who have ideally graduated in Education or Teacher Training (Foreign language acquisition) or a related field and would like to gain teaching experience through a practical program in a Spanish school for a school year.

The programme has been designed for those who are committed to working in education in the future and offers participants the chance to further develop their knowledge and skills in teaching, as well as to provide sufficient experience in this field to facilitate finding a job in the future.

To be able to apply to one of these vacancies starting in October 2021 participants need to have legal status to be in Spain. Moreover, due to the start date being near, these placements can only be offered to European Passport holders, to citizens with legal permits, or to non-European passport holders but with a student visa and able to renew papers in Spain. Unfortunately Due the lack of time at this time we are unable to consider candidates who need a visa to be processed

To be Native level English speaker
To have received a university degree (desirable but not compulsory)
A qualification in teaching English as a foreign Language is recommended too.
Any type of previous experience of working with children, is also valued
Ideally to be under 35 years old, but not exclusive.

To have a friendly personality and good communication skills.
To be communicative and empathetic, to be flexible, adaptable, to be proactive, and a team worker.
To be motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and participate.
To add value in relation to language and culture and to be open and dynamic.
Above all, to have a real vocation to work with young children.

Grant of up to 900 euros/month or equivalent with the possibility of earning extra money, as the terms and conditions do not oblige exclusivity, as long as the economic activity does not interfere with the terms and conditions of the grant.

The assistant teacher will receive all necessary support and help with the formalities and administrative requirements related to the role and also in finding accommodation, prior the arrival, and during the whole participation in our program.
Moreover, the assistant teacher will receive all the support needed and will be assigned an Agent during the whole placement.
