Description

STE prides itself on providing high-quality English education to children of all ages with a strong focus on reading, writing, and conversation skills all done in a fun learning environment.

We are looking for an energetic Native English teacher that can work full time (40 hours per week) that entails roughly 30 class hours during the same time period over 5 days a week. Salary starts from 220,000 yen per month.

We are looking for someone who can:
・team-teach with Japanese teachers as well as by themselves
・be self-motivated
・check student’s daily tasks or assignments
・speak freely in English with the students as a daily practice
・be fun, positive, and punctual
・perform certain skills such as singing, dancing, acting, and reading story books

Of course, applicants must love working with children!

Location: Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture.
BA/BS required.
Prior experience teaching children required.
Computer skills with programs such as Word, Photoshop, and Excel beneficial.
Applicant must reside in Japan. Company will sponsor or renew visa.
Accommodation: STE will pay up to ¥10,000 for monthly rent.
Includes paid holidays and health insurance.
1- or 2-year renewable contract. (2-year contract preferable.)
