Description
Candidates should have at least two years of ESL experience in Taiwan (or other countries in East Asia including China) and be able to speak Chinese at a basic level. However, if you have experience preparing students for Cambridge English exams, speaking Chinese will not be as important. That being said, we will consider any experienced teacher with a passion for teaching who is looking for long-term employment.

Our students range in age from 6 to 22. All classes are at the same location with back-to-back classes (4.5 or 6 hours per day). Some prep work is required for more advanced classes but the system itself is efficient and well organized. The benefits and salary are well above average (including two 3-week, paid vacations per year). Moreover, there is room for advancement, hence our preference for people who are here to stay.

We have been in business for 15 years and have developed a unique program which is run by a competent and dedicated team. Currently there are five foreign teachers who have been working at the school for at least five years and cumulatively for more than 50 years.

Please note that in order to teach English in Taiwan, you must have a university degree or other proper documentation, as well as a passport from one of the countries approved by the Ministry of Education (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States).

So if you would like to work at a school that is serious about teaching English where the employees are respected, appreciated and valued please send an email with CV to:
